Description
The StarTech 1000 Mb/s Gigabit Multi-Mode Fiber Media Converter lets you extend a Gigabit Ethernet network over multi-mode fiber up to 1,804′ (550m). Designed for reliable Gigabit network performance and scalability, it supports full Gigabit speeds for connecting Ethernet (1000Base-T) networks to remote segments over a 1000Base-LC fiber backbone.
This converter features a durable all-steel chassis and simple plug-and-play installation with minimal configuration. It offers versatility with standalone operation or installation into the ETCHS2U 20-slot, 2U rackmount chassis and includes a replaceable SFP slot.
