Featuring a rust-resistant zinc coating and dual-hardened stainless steel, the PL2 Peacemaker Padlock from Pelican is compliant with US Military standards for safety and construction. Built with an interlocked and riveted body design that’s stronger than conventional locks. The padlock’s chamfered rivet holes prevent fracture when chiseled or pried, and the boron-alloy shackle resists cutting from bolt cutters. For added security, the PL2 Peacemaker utilizes a pick and bump-resistant security pin system with 5 security pins. It’s also key responsible, keeping the key in the lock until fully locked or opened to 180°.
