The ASUS DRW-24F1ST 24x Internal SATA Multi DVD Writer is compatible with Windows 8, 7, Vista, and XP, supporting various 8 and 12cm media types, including DVD±R (SL/DL), DVD±RW, DVD-ROM (SL/DL), DVD-RAM, CD-R, CD-RW, and CD-ROM. With a maximum DVD write speed of 24x and read speed of 16x, it enables fast data storage and retrieval. The drive also features a maximum CD write speed of 48x, DVD playback at 6x, and Audio CD and VCD playback at 16x. Mounting within a 5.25″ drive bay via SATA, it offers access times of 130 ms for DVDs and 170 ms for CDs.
